  • HCL Tech reported 0.8% quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) increase in its consolidated revenues for the quarter ended June (Q1FY25). On a year-on-year (YoY) basis, it witnessed a growth of 9%.
  • Its expenses for the quarter were down by 1% QoQ and 7% YoY.
  • The net profit grew 7% QoQ and 21% YoY.
  • The earnings per share (EPS) of HCL Tech stood at 15.7 during Q1FY25.

  • Revenue: ₹28,057 crore, representing a 6.7% YoY jump
  • Profit: ₹4,259 crore, reflecting a 21% YoY growth
  • EBIT: ₹4,795 Crores (17.1% of revenue), down 4.4% QoQ & up 7.5% YoY
  • New deal wins: $1,960 million
  • An interim dividend: ₹12 per share

Management Commentary:

C Vijayakumar, CEO & Managing Director HCL Tech said, "We are pleased to report another quarter of industry-leading performance with 5.6 % YoY revenue growth on a constant currency basis. Our Q1 Revenue and EBIT performance was slightly better than our expectations. "

He also added, "We clocked in $2B TCV of new business Bookings. We are confident of decent growth in the coming quarters, positioning us well to deliver our revenue guidance for the year as clients continue to spend on GenAI and other emerging technologies."

The key deal wins for HCL Tech:

  • A Fortune 100 Technology Company selected HCLTech for setting up Technical Assistance Centers in Asia, enhancing customer experience and operational efficiency through automation.

  • Banco do Brasil chose HCLTech to integrate Salesforce’s Slack with WhatsApp for customer experience transformation.

  • State Bank of India opted for HCLSoftware’s Unica martech platform to automate digital marketing and deliver hyper-personalised customer experiences.

  • Ahold Delhaize USA expanded partnership with HCLTech for technology modernisation across its retail network.

  • A US-based Beverage Company engaged HCLTech to transform its e-commerce platform with GenAI, XR/VR, and IoT technologies for enhanced customer experiences.
