Update regarding Kotak Stock Trader app

Starting 8th April, we will be unpublishing the Kotak Stock Trader app (KST) from the Google Play Store. What does this mean? Existing users can continue to use the KST app and receive app updates, but new users won’t be able to find or download it on the Google Play Store.

If you have the KST app installed on your Android device, you can continue to receive updates for the KST app. To update the app, you can navigate to the following path:

1. Visit the Google Play Store on your Android device
2. Navigate to profile section in the top right
3. Tap Manage apps and devices > Manage
4. Search for “Old KST app” in your Installed apps and tap it.
5. Tap on Update (if visible) to receive the latest updates

If you don’t have the KST app installed, you can click here to download the latest update of Kotak Stock Trader app. You can download the KST app via the Download Now button or QR code scan.

While trying to install the .apk file, you may need to enable permissions on your device for installing unknown apps. You can following the steps to enable permission:

1. Navigate to the Settings on your Android device
2. Search and Tap on ‘Apps’ or ‘Apps & notifications’
3. Look for ‘Special app access’ and tap on it. If needed, tap on Advanced and then select ‘Special app access’
4. Now tap on ‘Install unknown apps’. Once you’ve enabled this permission, you will be able to install the Kotak Stock Trader app.

Note for iOS users: The KST app will remain available for download and updates from the Apple Store. You won't be affected by this change.
