Key Steps For The Tax Filing Process

Kotak Neo Users

ClearTax automatically retrieves all your tax details directly from your account on Kotak Neo, saving you valuable time and effort. Here's the process:

1. Login to ClearTax and submit your personal info.
2. Under ‘Income Source’, click on ‘Capital Gains’ & select ‘Kotak Neo’ from the list of brokers.
3. Accept the T&Cs & log in to your Kotak Neo account.
4. View your capital gains on ClearTax.

Alternatively, you can simply download your Tax P&L Excel file from ‘Reports’ under your profile section and upload it to the ClearTax platform.

Kotak Stock Trader App Users

The process is still simple!

1. Log into your Kotak Stock Trader app and navigate to the ‘More’ tab.
2. Under Tools & Resources, click on 'Reports & Statements'.
3. Click on 'Tax P&L' and select financial year to download it in Excel format.
4. Log into ClearTax and upload it under ‘Capital gain’.
